The Return of Wednesday Night Dinners
Wednesday, October 5, 6:15 p.m.
Wednesday Night Dinners at Aldersgate will resume on Wednesday, October 5. Aldersgate member and chef Laura Knight of A Knight’s Feast will cater the dinners. We’ll have meals available to eat here or to take out, but we hope you will stick around to get to know each other better and for the program to follow dinner. At this dinner, Jason will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about Stanley Hauerwas, who will preach at the Sixtieth Anniversary services on October 23.
Please Register to Attend
To avoid overcooking and wasting food, Laura will be preparing meals only for those registered to attend. Please register here by October 2 or sign up during coffee hours in Wesley Hall. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Please Volunteer to Help
It takes a village (of volunteers!) to make events like these successful. We are seeking 3 teams of 5-8 members each to help us at the dinners: a team to set up, a team to serve, and a team to clean up. If you are willing to help out, please use the SignUp Genius to volunteer for one or more of the slots by September 21. If you have additional questions, please contact Jenny Lasley.
