Come be part of Aldersgate’s Day of Service. There are many ways for you to help:
Packaging meals for Stop Hunger Now at two locations (Aldersgate and Stratford Landing)
Preparing sandwiches for the homeless for Rising Hope
Creating of food for students in need at Fort Hunt
Pulling together cold weather items for those in need for Sunday Suppers.
There will only be one worship service that day, at 10:00 a.m., after which we will disperse to to participate in the projects to serve those in the neighborhood and around the world. There is a $5 fee to cover the cost of materials. Go to the event signup page to choose your activity.
Green bags for collecting food to ensure that students in need have the balanced, nutritious food they need to learn and grow will be distributed on October 1 & 2, 8 & 9, and 15 & 16.
