Prayer School with Brian Zahnd

Learn how to pray and teach others how to pray. Brian Zahnd’s Prayer School is designed to provide a convenient setting for you to learn about, and actively engage in, the prayer regimen that Brian has developed during a lifetime of pastoral ministry. This prayer school will help you gain a fresh perspective on the purpose of prayer and provide you with a valuable, sustainable framework for community and personal prayer life.
Brian Zahnd is the founder and lead pastor of Word of Life Church, a non-denominational Christian congregation in Saint Joseph, Missouri. In his book, Water to Wine: Some of My Story, he tells the story of his disenchantment with pop Christianity and his search for a more substantive faith. Recentering his life in the prayers of the Church and in liturgy, he now offers what he has learned to others who may also find themselves in need of a deeper faith and more disciplined prayer life.
Join us at Aldersgate United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 7, 2017, from 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. for Brian’s Prayer School. The fee of $30 also includes a copy of Water to Wine and lunch.
