Alternative Giving:
An Aldersgate Tradition since 2004
Aldersgate United Methodist Church’s Alternative Christmas Giving event is an opportunity to honor Jesus’s birth by giving gifts of love. Shoppers make contributions to mission projects in the name of loved ones as an alternative to buying material goods.
Alternative Giving lets people know of your love for Christ and your desire to serve as he served. Volunteers will be in Wesley Hall on Sundays during Advent to assist you in purchasing gifts.
This year, Alternative Giving focuses on Serving Our Neighbors in Cambodia and on the White Mountain Apache Reservation.
