Email Scam Attempts
Some of you have received emails, allegedly from Randy Orndorff, asking you to email him, purchase gift cards, send money, etc. These “phishing” attempts seem to be increasing in frequency. Pastor Randy has not and will not ask you for money or gift cards via email or text message. Please disregard and delete these attempts to trick you. If you’re unsure, email connect@aldersgate.net. One way you can see that this is an attempt to trick you is to carefully look at the “From” address in an email. It might look very close to our church address but is actually sent from a made-up email address. Again, please do not fall for these attempts to trick you. They are not from Pastor Randy.
